MCC works to eliminate Haiti’s temporary housing
Almost three years after a massive earthquake devastated Haiti, Mennonite Central Committee continues to address long-term needs for housing and sustainable livelihoods.
MCC is in the midst of two large earthquake-response projects — building a new housing community for 100 families on the northwest outskirts of the capital city of Port-au-Prince and expanding a vocational training program in Desarmes, a community 32 miles northeast of the city.
