Goshen grad helps former Amish realize college dreams
GOSHEN, Ind. — What happens when a needy student cannot get financial aid? Like other students of Amish descent, Naomi Kramer, a 2012 graduate of Goshen College, faced that dilemma because her parents did not support her decision to attend college.
After five years of sacrifice and struggle, Kramer has achieved her dream. Now she is trying to help others by co-founding the Amish Descendant Scholarship Fund, which aids former Amish people who want to go to college.

Sunshine to brighten Goshen rec center showers
GOSHEN, Ind. — People taking showers in Goshen College’s Roman Gingerich Recreation- Fitness Center will soon have the sun — and the physics department — to thank for their warm water. Members of the Sun Shower Collective, consisting of students, faculty and staff, are building solar panels to heat the water in the RFC.

Muslim students break barriers between faiths
GOSHEN, Ind. — While differences between Christians and Muslims have caused global conflict, two Muslim international students, Mohammad Rasoulipour and Mohamed Meissara, are finding Goshen College to be a place of peace and acceptance.
