On March 6, the following were baptized: Trey Sommers, Benjamin Troyer, Noah Hershberger, Chad Troyer and Erion Vance.
On March 13, Joe Troyer gave a message about human trafficking and how it affects us in Ohio.
On March 20, Michael Miller of Bible Memory Ministries from Goshen, Ind., led our worship with the help of the Bible Memory Team, in town for the annual Bible Memory auction at Mount Hope.
On April 3, Walsh University nursing students from Canton presented a program on “Preventing Sports Injuries,” with a focus on concussions, for parents, youths and coaches during Sunday school.
On April 8-9, more than 30 volunteers helped at a Habitat for Humanity house.
New members received were Bob, Cheryl and Ashley Phipps and Ron and Peg Hill.
On April 17, 50 HMC volunteers helped Hammer and Nails of Canton to repair, paint and add a deck to a home in Canton.
A Maundy Thursday service with communion and footwashing was followed on Good Friday with a 14-hour prayer vigil, then a sunrise service, breakfast and a worship service on Easter Sunday.
