One stream of conversation at the Charlotte 2005 assembly pertained to the nature, and the future, of the relationship between Mennonite Church USA and Mennonite Church Canada. From one perspective, the relationship has become stretched, even strained, by the diverging agendas and cultures at work in the two national denominations.
